Meet Evie

I'm a multidisciplinary artist, although I often work with pencils or pens on paper, or sculpting with polymer clay.

I would describe my art as dreamy, feminine, and fantastical. I usually stick to consistent color themes involving black, white, and pastel colors.

 I'm often inspired by the medieval aesthetic and Gothic architecture. I also find inspiration in fashion and textiles.  The ideas for my artwork usually stem from dreams, or my conscience right before I fall asleep. I find myself most inspired at these times. My ideas tend to start out broad and as I continue with planning the piece, they snowball.

Not all my art has a set meaning, although in a few of my works, I would say they touch on humans' impact on nature, expectations of femininity,  and mortality.
